Distribution Warehouse for H&M

We were asked to create a 3d model of the mechanical and electrical elements for a large distribution building in Milton Keynes.
Our client, a mechanical and electrical design company, was very proficient in the design, however they had not enbraced BIM and couldn’t create a 3d model to represent their design.
We were provided with 2d sketches of the existing federated model which our client had marked up manually using a marker and then scanned his markups and sent them to us.
We interpreted these markups and created a 3d model in Revit which could form part of an overall federated model.
Part of our process involved clarifying the design with the client to ensure that our modelling matched the design intent.
